This Privacy Policy also covers transactions made via America Digital Inc’s Bitcoin ATMs. We are committed to ensuring the privacy of our customers and safeguarding their cryptocurrency transactions.

Personal Information We Collect
Personal information is generally defined as data that identifies an individual or relates to an identifiable individual. This includes information you provide to us, information which is collected about you automatically, and information we obtain from third parties. The definition of personal information depends on the applicable law based on your physical location. Only the definition that applies to your physical location will apply to you under this Privacy Policy.

- Cryptocurrency Transaction Data: Details pertaining to Bitcoin transactions, such as Bitcoin addresses, transaction amounts, and timestamps.
- Personal Identification Information: Name, Social Security Number, Date of Birth, Address, Phone Number, Email
- Government Identification Information: Government issued identity documents such as a passport, driver’s license, and/or state identification card.
- Correspondence: Information that you provide to America Digital Inc when interacting with America Digital Inc Support via phone, email, online form, or other correspondence.
- Internet Activity: IP Address, Geolocation, Type of Device, Operating System, Browser, and similar data.
- Information From Third Parties: We may also obtain information about our customers from third parties such as credit bureaus and identity verification services. We ensure that such third parties adhere to the same data protection principles as America Digital Inc.
- Usage Data: America Digital Inc uses analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Site. America Digital Inc SMS Communications
- By submitting your phone number in a America Digital Inc kiosk or web form, you consent to receive one or more automated texts at the phone number from which you texted or at the phone number you entered in the form.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors that support our services (such as our SMS delivery provider or customer-service vendors) is permitted. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
- Kiosk hosts: if you provide a mobile number in a Host Agreement or to our staff, you consent to receive installation and service text messages about your kiosk. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Your America Bitcoin Account
When you create an account at account.americabitcoinatm.com or in our wallet app, we collect your mobile phone number, your email address, and your first name if you give it. We also record the version and date of the Terms of Service you accepted, and a record of each sign-in: the time, your IP address, and your device and browser type. You can see recent sign-ins in your account.
We don’t use passwords. You sign in with a one-time code sent by text message through Twilio or by email through Mailgun. Twilio creates and checks the text-message codes, and we never see them. Email codes expire after 10 minutes, and we store them only in scrambled (hashed) form.
Identity verification
To verify your identity, you use our identity-verification provider, Sumsub. Sumsub collects a photo of your government-issued ID, a selfie with a short liveness check, and the details on your ID, such as your name, date of birth and address. If you already verified at one of our kiosks or our Teller desk, you can link that verification instead: you take a new selfie, and Sumsub compares it with the photo from your earlier verification. These comparisons use facial geometry. We receive the result of each check and keep your verification on file as the law requires. Your wallet
If you register a wallet from our wallet app, we receive that wallet’s extended public key (xpub). It lets us generate your wallet’s receiving addresses and see its bitcoin balance and transaction history on the public blockchain. We use it to send your kiosk purchases to your own wallet, to confirm that bitcoin you bought went to a wallet you control, and to help protect you from scams. We never receive your private keys or recovery phrase, and we cannot move your bitcoin. When you approve a kiosk purchase in the app, we record the kiosk, its location, the time, the amount and the receiving address. Your phone also holds its own security key, so only your phone can approve a purchase or change your wallet.
How we use and share this information
We use it to sign you in and keep your account secure, to prevent fraud and scams, to meet anti-money-laundering obligations under the Bank Secrecy Act and state law, to connect kiosk purchases to your account, and to support you.
We share it only with service providers that run these features for us: Twilio (text messages and calls), Mailgun (email), Sumsub (identity verification), our hosting provider, and our kiosk software provider. When a kiosk asks for your wallet, that provider receives only the receiving address you approve. We also share information with regulators and law enforcement when the law requires it. We do not sell your information.
How we protect it
Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only in hashed form. You’re signed out after 30 minutes without activity and after 12 hours in any case. Our account site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Wallet changes and purchase approvals require a signature from your phone’s security key.
How long we keep it, and your choices
Anti-money-laundering rules require us to keep account, identity-verification and transaction records for at least five years, so we do, even after you close your account. You can remove a wallet from your account in the app at any time; we keep the records of purchases already made to it.
